“The jacket came off for scenes in the club. They singled me out for a shot where my character was arguing with the doorman to get in for the show. The other scene we shot was in front of Mr. Held, at the helm of the camera, on stage, while the Earth laden lyrics of the music of the band Tree, fronted by Dave Tree, blared through the old cavern of the club. Of course in the first scene you’d have to circle me with white ink in the shot in the doorway in order to know that it was me! A great “a star is born”-type story for a talk show someday!”
